Finally the Fountains of Fawara Chowk is going to Restore

Fawara Chowk - is soon going to be restored in its actual form. After endless Efforts of the Team Our Bahawalpur finally the work for restoration has been started on Fawara Chowk and InshaAllah soon everyone in Bahawalpur can hope to see the Fountains working back on Fawara Chowk.

This fountain is too old and is installed on Fawara Chowk since'1880 after many request to Minister Mr Main.M. Baleegh-ur-Rehman and Commissioner Mr Saqib Zafar the strong feeling of people of city are connected with this heritage of Bahawalpur. It was promised that this Fountain will be restored fully till Year 2014, but uptill now its 2016 Mid yet no progress had been seen,
But recently A.C_ Rao Tasleem assured us about restoration of Fountain and InshaAllah soon in coming days Everyone is going to see this Fountain working with fully optimized way.

We are Thankful to Minister, Commissioner and Provincial Government.

The Al-Sadiq Mosque of Bahawalpur

Al-Sadiq Mosque Bahawalpur, is the heritage of Nawab of Bahwalpur who commissioned Mosque located centrally in Bazaar of Bahawalpur City. Al Sadiq Mosque is one of the biggest Mosques in the city and ancient one. It is constructed with such beauty after too many years of its construction it still keeps its beauty which casts a spell  on its visitors.

Everyday hundreds of people from whole the Bazaar came here to say prayer five times a day. It is the place in whole Bazaar which I personally feels that gives me a great pleasure whenever I go there and spend some time. This Mosque is consisting of two floors and having a capacity of thousand of people

This Mosque is versatile example of Royal Calligraphic work en-carved on the wall of Al-Sadiq Mosque. I Must Recommend everyone who visit Bahawalpur, Don't forget to see this Mosque it is place great beauty calligraphic work and spiritual satisfaction. Tourist must visit they can get a lot
from this place.

History of Bahawalpur ZOO:
Bahawalpur ZOO was set up in 1942 by the former Aamer of Bahawalpur, Sir Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi. It was then named "Sher Bagh" meaning "lion garden". In 1955, the administrator of the zoo Dr.Ghulam haider sumro was transferred to the Department of Agriculture. From 1977 to 1982, the zoo remained under the control of the Department of the Live Stock Punjab. The Bahawalpur Zoo is the fourth biggest zoo in Pakistan, after Lahore ZooKarachi Zoo and Islamabad Zoo.
