Sadiq Garh Palace - Royal Masterpiece

It is the Palace with superior elegance and glory, is named Sadiq Garh Palace. This Palace was established in 1882, by Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi (IV). This Palace was constructed by expert engineers with a cost of 15 Lac Rupees at that time. After the completion of the Palace is inaugurated in the presence of Majestic court.

There are the huge walls around the Palace, and lush Green lawns inside the boundaries and having various kinds of colorful flowers. This building has the beauty of Masterpiece. There are the bastions on the every corner of the Palace that seems to be like on the duty to Protect.
There is the beautiful dome in the center of the building which looks glowing in the night and this sight casts a majestic charm on its visitors.

 There verandas all around the building which keeps all the ways connected. There are the Cellars  under the bastions where instead of Electric Light Natural Lights are also arranged.

Inside the Central Senate there is court hall and sets with all accessories are placed on both sides especially for respected guests. From rest room to drawing room, dressing room, wash room and office are glorious. The floors, roofs and walls are beautifully designed.
The Durbar hall is worth visiting. In this huge hall the kingly plank is placed and behind the plank there is a big mirror. It is said about this mirror that when it arrived Karachi through the sea way it was loaded on special trucks to take it to Bahawalpur. Many platforms of different railway stations were expanded because of this mirror.

Darbar Mahal - is Palace with enchanted beauty and awesomely structured & beautified. This is also  historical heritage of Nawabs of Bahawalpur and is Architectural Masterpiece. Darbar Mahal is      among one of the most beautifully  constructed Palaces in the World.

 The Palace is now under the control of Pakistan Army but still has a great attraction for the Tourists  Historically it was constructed like the architectural structures resembles to Mughalai Forts and also  having typical fusion of East-Indian and Arabic Architecture.

History of Darbar Mahal:
 Darbar Mahal was commissioned by Nawab Bahawal Khan Abbasi (V) in 1904, it was like the other  forts that had been built around that time. Originally concieved as "Bahawal-Garh" the fort was  completed in 1905.
 The Mahal was given into the services of Pakistan Armed Forces and Govt. Offices after War of      Independence 1947, and the tenants paid due dividend to the Nawab.
 The Mahal served as sitting bench for regional court of State of Bahawalpur but from last two  decades exclusively serving the Pakistan Army.

 Darbar Mahal has been built with the Red Bricks and structure resembles to the earlier Lahore Fort.
  It is also extended in the fashioned "Haveli" style building with four domes which are connected to  each other through short corridors. The structure is an awesome blend of red on white, with White  dominating windows along with roofline and exterior walls are in Red. The Building was a blend of  Ancient Indian and Arab traditional architectural style, spacious building with 80 windows was styled in old Islamic traditions of 14th Century.

Derawar Fort - a Majestic place full of enchanted beauty of desert is located at Cholistan in Bahawalpur District. It is Fortress consist on Forty Bastions of the Fort which are being visible in the desert from many miles. Historically significant and impressively structured fort which is located in the Heart of Cholistan, but unfortunately rapidly deteriorating and seriously need some preventive measures for the preservation of historical fort and heritage of Nawabs.

Historical Background of Derawar Fort:

 This Fort had historically a great worth. This was built by Rai Jajja Bhatti who was an the ruler at  that time of 'Bhatti Clan' and being built by 9th Century AD. for tribute to "Rawal Deoraj Bhatti"
 of Rajput King of Jaisalmer and Bahawalpur.
 The Fort was initially named as 'Dera Rawal' and later named as Dera Rawar and presently known  and Pronounced as Derawar.

 In the 18th century, the fort was taken over by Muslim Nawabs of Bahawalpur. It was later renovated  by Abbasi rulers, but in 1747 the fort by Bahawal  Khan's preoccupations at Shikarpur.  Nawab Mubarak Khan took the stronghold back in 1804.

 Insight Derawar Fort:

 If you have planned a trip to Bahawalpur, than you must a have guide along with you to  actually feel the charm of history of majestic sights. 
 Jeep Rally which became an International Event organized by TDCP of Bahawalpur is  being organized in area in surrounding of Derawar Fort.
 If you really wish to get inside the Fort along with the Guide their is need for the proper  Permission of Am'eer of Bahawalpur.
 The Drive takes 3-4 hours to reach the fort in fascinating desert landscape. The cholistan  desert covers 26,000 sq km (10,000 sq miles) and extends into the Thar desert to India.  The whole area was once well watered by the river Ghaggar, now called the Hakara in  Pakistan, and known in ancient times as the Sarasvati.
 It is really worth visiting to Cholistan If you got a Chance to discover this Majestic Fort.
